DO’S:
- Wear sensible clothing(not like this).
- Grab the bat by the thin end, not by the fat end as you will get SMACKED on the face.
- At least try to touch the ball with the bat.
- RUN WITH ALL YOUR LIFE TO THE OTHER STUMP AND BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Know what a bail is. Otherwise don’t play at all.
In the sport of cricket, a bail is one of the two smaller sticks placed on top of the three stumps to form a wicket. The bails are used to determine when the wicket is broken, which in turn is one of the critical factors in determining whether a batsman is out bowled, stumped, run out or hit wicket.
DON’TS:
- Don’t hit the bail (not Gareth Bale!) or else.
- Don’t turn up to a match wearing a multi-colored track suit, a clown suit or your PJ’s(trust me don’t it’s very stupid!)
- Don’t forget to bring your safety equipment (nobody likes to spend a weekend in hospital !)
- Don’t eat beans before a cricket match (otherwise its not going to be very nice for the wicket keeper)
